We're thrilled to announce that the revitalization of Main Street in Nyack, New York is now complete! From the iconic Woolworth building to Koblin's Pharmacy, the entire project included more than 20 storefronts and the Veteran's Memorial Park on Main Street.
The response to last week's announcement has been overwhelming! We received hundreds of thank you messages from all across North America, and we're thrilled that Main Street Matters has helped bring communities together in so many ways.
Congratulations to all of the towns who were a part of Main Street Matters! From the outpouring of excitement, it's clear that each of the Main Streets on the voting map embodies the spirit of this effort.
Several of the towns that made the final list were actually not on the map when we first launched Main Street Matters. Ellicott City, Flint, Macon, and Texarkana all nominated themselves. But they didn't stop there!
From mayors to council members, senators, and congressional representatives, it's been exciting to see so many local officials supporting Main Street Matters. Their passion for their local Main Streets is inspiring and had an impact on their communities.
